    Hey all, my wife is supposed to go for training here soon and I've kept hearing that the economy is picking up.. Was just wondering if you guys are getting decent miles or if the freight is moving slow right now?

    Yeah, I'm a definite wannabe, but with my disability it's gonna be a long road to get there.. but my wife is trying to get into it so I just wanna know how the miles are comin along for everyone..

    Freight is definitely on the upswing. I see more trucks on the highway today than last year.

    Miles for the past few weeks have seen an increase for me as well. Over the winter my wife and I were lucky to get 3500 miles per week, now we are getting around 5000 miles per week. We have to pull 6 to 8 loads per week to get that though.

    Our freight lanes are primarily between Georgia and Pennsylvania right now.

    I'm not hitting any home runs in the mileage department, but it's been steadier than in months past. I've also been seeing more short runs in the 500-mile range, but it all adds up.

    :biggrin_255:For the 1st qtr. I have driven around 33,000 miles, not great, but improving. That's about 5800 more than 1st qtr last year
