hows the turn over rate high when trucks are everywhere

I read all the stories about orientation and the class size being 30 students and only 5 get through. Where are all these drivers coming from?

Just trying to wrap my head around it.

 

What's funny is that the 25 who didn't make it through orientation are NOT INCLUDED in the turnover rate calculations, since they weren't officially hired yet.

Yeah, it's mind-boggling to think about the numbers. I think it's really something where it's either for you or it isn't. Unfortunately, the only way to find out for sure seems to be to try it and see.

Realize that part of the turnover rate is drivers moving from one company to another; it's not all from new drivers who decide to leave the industry -- though a lot of it is.

 

Prime penalizes drivers $3600 (under 6 months employment) or $1800 (after 6 months employ), if they dont complete one year of work. As they are trying to retain drivers. Yet I dont think Prime was necessarily what you planed for an example?
