Also, sounds pretty good. You get a lot of freedom that most don't and hub pay? That's rare. And per diem?

This might also help, background checks are sold in years. Typically 5,10,15 and 20. The 20 is very expensive. Most apps. ask about the last 10 and that depends on what you're doing / want to do.

I would build more time with what I have. I don't believe you can beat your deal right now.

I have a trip pack and document my week on the back of the envelope.Starting odometer from the shop, mileage at each pick, drop, fueling, cross state line....I get paid Every single odometer mile on that truck for the whole week. They had me deadhead 490 miles one time and paid me for it.I KNOW I have it made its just that sometimes when hauling cars we get loaded HEAVY.I got on the scales at the shredder in Englewood CO one day and grossed97000! My backhauls are always general freight though and all in all Im happy there.

.27 per hub mile is the equivalent of .30 per computer mile # best...Not great

As was previously questioned, is the $40.00 per day per diem ON TOP of the mileage, drop, pick pay?

97,000 lbs gross weight, are you running multi-axles with permits or bootlegging these loads? I'm OK with bootlegging BUT there better be a BIG incentive in my check for it and I'm not sure if that is happening for you.

no drop axles on our trailers they are plain ol 48 foot chapparal stepdecks. We are tagged to run 85500 and the 97000 was the last load to get hauled out of a particular spot.Yes we get 25$ for tarping. If our finest athletes are our olympians then they need to make tarp rolling in a 30 mph wind an olympic event!

Gona hijack this post. I am a convicted felon (3fellonys in 1995). In 02 I got a gun beef which, after almost 20k in lawyer fees was dropped. My lawyer who was well worth every penny I spent on him, was somehow able to get my original case overturned. A guard yelled out my name in the county jail where i was being held, led me to the guard shack and had me sign a huge stack of papers which in summery said that in regards to the case whatever in 1995 I plead not guilty to the three felony's and the court accepts my plea. It was a mountain of paper work hell of long but thats basically what it said. The gun charge I was facing got dropped to a misdemeanor and second best to not spending the next 60 years in prison was no longer being a convicted felon on paper.

My point being is that if you are willing to spend the money on a good attorney. Your old felony can probably be taken care of so its not an issue. I was forced into doing it and I went into debt quite a bit, but still think it was the best money I ever spent. When I got released I walked out of county a free man like everyone else. No convicted felon tag hanging over me when I put in job applications ets. Great feeling. A lot of doors like county, city, state jobs ets that would have been closed to me all of a sudden opened up. No worries about how I would explain my past to any potential future employers ets. Just nothing hanging over me anymore really worth the money. Your circumstances may be different, but I still would call a few good lawyers and see what they have to say about the possibility of cleaning it up.
