I'll find out today. -
Well the safety director and a driver trainer came in. They say you can get 3700-4200 miles a week.
Training for newbie students is 6 weeks of load securement, tarping, and local runs.
No paid vacations. BCBS health, 401K, family atmosphere.
28 tractors. 48 states and Canada
No Qualcoms.
When specifically asked about running legal? They said they could train us to make things look legal.
.28 for newbies. Their drivers make 53-75K a year. Turnover is really low.
Gotta live within an hour of the yard.lv gn Thanks this. -

I like the idea of a small company. Just can't be running like they want you to. Get caught and you won't work anywhere. I talked with a trucking friend and he told me with tarping and crankin down a load? I would be running fast, and fudging the books.
I can't afford to speed. I did that stuff before when it wasn't so serious. Next year things are going to be a bunch different.
No paid vacations ever.
I didn't ask about tarp pay. At 50K+ a year? Who cares!

if you want to work for a company that you can drive as much as you want and cheat on your log books then this is the company for you in fact they actually encourage it, just don't get caught or it's your backside and they will deny everything. plus they only pay .32 cpm. yes they get you home but don't be surprised if when you get back you have to turn around and go somewhere else and be there by the next morning even if you have been driving all day already. they have a huge turnover and from what i have heard they can't understand why. if they tell you you are going somewhere that is 600 miles away and you follow their directions and it turns out to be 650 or more miles well that's too bad they only pay you for what they say the miles are. if they told you 50k to 75k that's a joke 50k is possible if you run your butt off 75k is possible if you are a trainer and that is only because you get paid for every mile the truck goes and it will be more of a team driving type of experience not actual training their trainers make sure you can drive the truck and when they see that you can they get in the bunk and go to sleep, and when your time is up they start driving.
