All this storm talk makes me glad for three reasons:
    1. I don't live on the coast, so whatever the ocean throws up on the beach won't hit me (cause that would kinda hurt, methinks).

    2. There's this whole range of mountains between me and whatever hurricanes decide to attack the East Coast and,

    3. I live well above sea level, so I never get flooded. Trust me, if I get flooded out, there's some old guy with a spectacular beard and a really big boat asking for mating pairs of every animal, get it?

Yup, got a spare roll in the truck. And a bottle of scotch in the trailer with a BOL for it in the door pocket. ;)

I have lived through many storms. Keep food and water on hand and fuel up.
