I know exactly where you are talking about! I got off the exit and promptly got lost. Why are there no other signs after that one? I ended up on the surface streets desperately trying to get back. Fortunately it was like 3:AM. Good times.

Lol my gps spazzes out when I go to huntspoint. I myself never understood NYC clearance signs. Some say the clearance is marked for snow. Some say it’s marked at absolute lowest point and the curb takes a foot from the actual clearance. Some say they just remove a foot. Honestly I don’t know. I’ve seen bridges marked 11”6 that I passed and I’ve seen bridges marked 13”2 that a truck got stuck under it.

I've personally passed under 11'7 bridge and still looked like i had about a foot. It's the white signs you really have to pay attention to. Just look for other trucks on the route and chances are your fine. Ny is stupid like that.
