Hi everyone. Kids are all grown and Husband and I are looking to drive for schneiders as a team. Questions are are the amounts they claim you can make as a team realistic? or are they blowing smoke our way. Also he (husband) has a state job that has good retirement benefits and he would like some info from any schneider drivers about whether their 401K, insurance , etc is as good as the recruiter says it is. Also recrutier stated during the two weeks of orientation if we found out anything we did not like about the company we could leave and there would be no fee charged. The fee for training would be a contract when we actually started driving after the two week orientation. Any and all information good as well as bad would be greatly appreciated as we have sent all our paperwork into them and are actually just needing to set up a drug test and actual date we would like to start orientation. We're looking to make a lot of money and put a lot of money away for retirement. It sounds realistic with infor we've collected off internet. Thanks

he ain't real content where he is, plus from all reports the money is better driving. He says all the infighting and back stabbing is getting real old.

because everybody thinks a driving job is just that just driving. they do not realize the hardship of it and think they will become rich. it does not happen and this explains the high turn over rate in trucking. it is not for everybody but unfortunitly a trucking company will bring anybody in and do a so called training and send them on there way and make the roads more dangerous . in my experiences i have found people who do it for the money do not last but the people who do it for the love of the road or who want to see new things make it out here. what is the average turn over rate right now. i am guessing at least one hundred and ten percent overall.

The best thing I've heard about Schneider is that they have a program for O/O's where you can pick your own loads and time off. I guess it's all done by computer??
