Heartland has a terminal in Lathrop and I believe they still run teams. Legend Trucking in Yuba City just north of Sacramento I believe also runs teams. There are a bunch of carriers based out of the Sacramento area, You should be able to find work pretty easily.

In order to qualify for the 5k bonus you need 2 years otherwise... this is Commerce City outside of Denver. But, OD all same requirements at each terminal.

My husband and I team for FFE. We have been here for yrs and have no complaints.

Here is the starting pay for teams and yes they pay you for home time too.

Woah that company almost seems too good to be true for starters. I'll give them a call.

Is the pay they advertise there accurate in your experience, specifically for starters?

There's another FFE driver on here making about the same running teams. I think last year he and his team mate made better than $90K each.

Not bad at all. I have an orientation with old Dominion but I'm still keeping my options open and ffe looks great on paper

Old Dominion is much easier and probably make more on those line haul runs.
I like refrigerated trucking, but that's just my preference.

Yes, they pay what they say. When I started as a solo driver my rookie year pay @ $.40 a mile I made pretty close to $60k that year. Now rookie solo drivers start out at $0.50 a mile. ($10k a yr raise if you do 120k a yr)

If you and your wife drive linehaul it isn't bad. You go terminal to terminal drop and hook. All of FFE terminals are close to the freeway. Easy in and outs.

Plasma teams make more, but you have to try out for it. You also go anywhere in the US. @TravR1 can give you more info. He does that route.

Sounds good; I'd go with FFE. Easier to find parking if not pulling doubles.
