Say you’re a company driver, and your company travels into Canada (albeit rarely). You are carrying a firearm in your cab against company policy. How would you handle that dispatch? Further, would you have less of a chance being caught if you had a FAST card?

  4. It only takes that one guy to see it in the scanner to pull you for closier inspection.

Don’t try to sneak a weapon across the border. That is just plain stupid!!!

Maybe check with a local gun store to the border or the local pd about storing it for a while.

If you don't declare your firearm and get caught who knows what the penalty will be best off leaving it at home locked in the safe.

@shogun, mind telling him about your buy?

Several things you can do. Leave it somewhere's near the border. Motels...businesses that you know and that know you. Don't try to sneak that gun across the border.

Sure thing. Academy Sports is running a sale good til the 25th on the Taurus G2C 9mm. Its a subcompact that holds 12+1, comes with two mags. Total length of 6 inches, fairly slim frame, 23 ounces empty.

Yesterday I paid $199 for it, and bought two boxes of 50 rd FMJ American Eagle. Total with tax was $237. This is the 3rd one I have bought. They are selling pretty quick so check back with Academy If they are out where you live.

Bringing a gun into Canada is easy.

Going back? Now that’s a whole different story. I don’t know why Border patrol got tanks but they will roll out the tanks and helicopters.

Just tell your dispatcher you have a gun and can't go to Canada. Then ask him/her where they want you to leave the truck, as you are now fired.
Your 3 day trip to Canada could turn into a 15 to life vacation.
