I applied and they told me they didn’t have any open positions near me.

I did all that "TSA crap" back in early August (again).

    It's not bad.

    Really.

@Arctic_fox gave a good suggestion with Bones I second that. Pavlich in KCK is an end dump company and they hire with very little experience. They could probably get you home home every other day if not every day. They run to St. Louis a lot and to Columbia and all around there. Being in Columbia it might be worth your while to try ESS they have a material yard behind Premier Truck on Route J I think it’s like exit 137 if I remember right. They have their hands in all sorts of pies, and with the widening of I-70 coming down the pipe, I can almost guarantee they are gonna have something to do with that project. Best of luck!

Are you in Columbia or Laddonia?
If Laddonia, I'm sure you know about the ethanol plant there. I used to work for em.
    Home every day.

I’m in Laddonia. Figured most people hadn’t heard of it lol. According to them the only driver position they have is in Macon. I’m gonna try and talk to someone and see if there’s gonna be anything here soon

Have you looked into yard jockeying? I make a good living doing that. Home every night. Benefits and overtime as well.

Try a national waste hauler in your area. Apply for a roll-off or front load position. Then try to work your way up to a class A transfer truck. Decent pay & good benefits.

That is a good job as well. If I ever gave up yard jockeying I would probably do this. Almost left a few times to do it.

Try the ready mix places. I think there was a billboard coming west out of St Louis advertising $39.25 per hour or something.

Yeah, I sometimes get emails from Amazon (of all people) offering me $800 to be a yard dog for a 10-hr shift.
