I just have a feeling this dude is gonna walk. With the charges still being driving under influence and he wasn’t according to the test. The D.A issetting this up for failure. The personal lawsuits against him will be the only justice.

Unfortunately that seems to be the m.o with travis county tx…the sec of transportation publicly stated on x that the driver and the llc’s he’s associated with are under investigation and criminal referrals are possible..

Sad thing is there are a few on this site that will believe this is a win.

The DA in Austin is notorious for being soft on crime. But they keep re-electing him so guess that's what they want. F em.

The dude spoke and understood English according to an affidavit from the officer.

Do any of you even give a crap about facts?

He’d be on death row if it happened in another county, Seriously, lol.

Obviously couldn’t read signs because he obviously didn’t read that construction was ahead and couldn’t bother to look and see traffic stopped nor could he read speed limit sign in Wilmer tx with a 63/30 zone citation…so yes he is a problem and hopefully never drives again a cmv.

Unsupported opinions crack me up :)

Knowingly posting something that you already know is a lie makes one a liar.

Personally I’d be embarrassed to post something so absurd.

Officer avadavits and facts aren't always in step. I know nothing about this case, am not commenting on particulars. I am just saying don't blindly believe everything on an officer's report. Hundreds, if not thousands of times per year they find false, or misleading statements on reports.
