Most city and state road jobs really don’t require any experience. At least here in Missouri. Most of the time they’ll train you and give you Xamout of months to obtain your CDL A or B. If you don’t already have one. I worked for a city street maintenance department for about 6 years and that’s where I got my CDL from. The kicker is, sometimes those jobs don’t always pay the best. But most do have good benefits. Good luck in your adventures.
I’m just starting out and could use some advice.

Thank you for the feedback. Is it best to start calling these companies or send me my resume online. I’m not sure in this industry which approach is better. Thanksaustinmike and Another Canadian driver Thank this.

Thank you so much for all the great information, it’s amazing how much you help out other members. I also appreciate you pointing out a vehicle transport option, never gave that much thought. That would be a very nice option, I have a love for the automotive industry and what better way to be involved in the industry. Do you know of other local transportation companies or is it mostly regional. Thanks again.Another Canadian driver and Chinatown Thank this.
