50 ft tire hose, with glad hand connection and a gauge on there, with a quick connect so I don’t have to baby sit the tire while it’s inflating, just hook it up and watch.

My arm can’t take the 30-40 seconds of pressing the hose to the tire to inflate and checking multiple times.

Need help, if I have to build my own what do I need?

    tscottme Thanks this.

I was just looking at what you need the other day, I do not know the brand or even really what it is called, but it is a little inline regulator you set for how many pounds you want, it is the same size as a regular quick connect.

Buy the tire chucks that tire shops use. Stick it on and it stays on. Then you don't have to hold it.

I picked up a couple from the tire shop last time I had a flat tire

Get a glad hand from a truck shop and then go to Harbor Freight or a good hardware store. Get a good quality rubber hose. None of that pvc crap. And some quick connect fittings and you are set. I bought a high quality air chuck. Long so you can get into the duals easy and will stay on the valve stem without you having to hold it on.

Every "truck stop" carries those 50' hoses, almost any color you want, just change the tire chuck end of it to the connector you require.

Just a question, (and I'll probably be called 'insensitive' again), but if you're unable to hold the chuck to the valve stem for half a minute, how do you hold your lane in a strong crosswind?

I can hold the wheel fine for some reason because I’m not pushing hard to keep the keep the truck straight or wheel into the wind. Power steering helps, it’s the tire chuck that I have to keep pressed that kills my joints.

I use to lift weights when I was young and over did it.

It’s the direct pressure that kills me.

And no not in insensitive Question at all it’s a fair question.

I bought that setup from the truck stop. Cheap plastic hose. I was in Minnesota when it was really cold. The hose lay on the cold ground while I aired up a flat. When I went to roll up the hose it broke into small pieces.
That's why I suggested a good quality rubber hose.

Go to an industrial hose store and have them build you what you want... A good industrial hose store should have everything required and can build it any length you want.

Neo flex hose, all temp, in neon green. The end I use is a quality dual foot, I have the other stuff but haven't found it to.really be needed, the tractor air pressure isn't that likely to overinflate.

I still have the one that gets brittle in the cold, too, coiled up in a tool bag with my other tire maintenance gear.

    Rounded_nut and Lepton1 Thank this.
