    I got out 2 years ago and have been thinking about getting back in again. Nothing like being your own boss and it took me going back to work for someone to realize how much freedom I lost. Is everyone staying busy? And have the rates been good? TIA.

    Tons of work in America , if work doesn’t bother you.
    Rates are great for business people.
    Rates are terrible for truck drivers.
    That’s the way it has always seemed , and still seems that way today.

    Where are you based and what kind of area are you going to be working in?

    I've managed to keep busy and make decent money based out of Phoenix traveling to california, vegas, and denver.

    I average between 2.50 and 3.50 a mile, stacking partials.

    I’m based out of San Antonio,TX. I don’t really want to limit myself to certain areas like I did the last time and reduce my revenue so I am open to all areas that are profitable.
