    Sadly your likely correct. My guess is the tesla was on "auto pilot" and the driver was texting or something and either froze or didnt react in time and slammed directly into the semi. Assuming the auto pilot didnt mistake it for a cloud or something.

    That is true. I didn't think about that. I didn't even know it was a Tesla until I read about it later on in the day when I googled for the accident and found the details.
