No trucks are allowed in the left lane in the state of PA. I was doing the speed limit. The truck came out of nowhere, a sign of speeding, the truck did not back off.

Why do some of you feel you can do what you want?

He was not aware that even as a 4 wheeler it is against the law to cruise in the hammer lane in Pennsylvania since 1999.

All of this..... yet you didn't call the state patrol? If you didn't find it bad enough to report, then posted on online forum is just stupid.

I find it hard to believe a 20 year trucker would behave that way. If nothing else, risking a ticket for 20 or more over instead of just getting out of the way isn't something I can see a guy with a couple of decades behind the wheel doing.

I was going the speed limit and I was passing. I was holding my lane because the truck was too close to me and I feared being spun out if I got back over. I think I did the right thing considering the circumstances I was in. What about the trucker who disregarded the speed limit?

I did get out of the way. It was an emergency situation, there's nothing wrong with accelerating to avoid being hit in the rear by 35,000 pound empty semi with the engine opened up.

If I did as you say I could of ended up like Brenda Longstreth the woman who died in Englewood, OH. I used self defensive driving to avoid an accident. I did not sit there waiting to be run over.

Seriously, you whipper snappers need to slow down.

It happened so quick I didn't know what to do, and as a proud man I don't like to tattle tale. But I will consider it in the future although I prefer to handle it the old fashion way with fists but he didn't pull over.
