I 70 to I 76 to Breezewood PA, relay load

Breezewood, PA, better known as Truckstop City.....

I used to have a regular run which took me from a factory that made interior panels for the Ford Windstar in northern VA to the assembly plant in Oakville, ON. The Breezewood TA was my fuel stop (An independent T/S in Orchard Park, NY was my backup), and my route used to take me up US 219 and 322, and a couple of state highways which escape me now; one took me to the summit of Bald Eagle mountain. It was that road which connected with the interstate just at the next exit on the PA tpk, which hardly made it worth the bother of getting on and getting off the toll road when US 30 was just a left turn out of the truckstop. Passed by a few remnants of roadside businesses from the pre-interstate days, most of which were long closed.
