Lack of patience causes lots of pile ups in Wyoming. You get behind a few CRE or Werner drivers doing 25 mph, when you could be doing 50 in the snow.
So you can stay behind them and question God's purpose for mankind for an hour, or you swing out in the hammer lane that the plows seem to not want to plow or put any ash down on, and drop the hammer hoping you don't hit an icy patch under the snow, and hope the FNG you are passing doesn't do the same. And of course he's going to speed up as well when your going by him.
I-80, W. Wyoming, what causes accidents in this stretch?

If that is the train accident that I am thinking of, then the conductor and the engineer both passed away in that accident.
UPDATE: Train crash west of Cheyenne leaves one dead, one missingCattleman84 Thanks this. -
Wyoming has its own set of skills requirements
Weather can change in minutes. From warm and a breeze to cold and a monsoon in 30 minutes, then back. Been a while, but have seen a few inches of snow get laid down in a july storm up on the mountains.Cattleman84 Thanks this. -
I think the only States that allow triples are OH and IN.
NY State allows two 48s to be pulled on I90 and I87 -
I think Kansas on the turnpike and Oregon too.

Nevada too

I just found that all the incidents on the freeways in general were quite ridiculous, i mean everyone's going in the same direction for starters yet still they end up getting tangled up with each other, when you have single lane each way naturally you've got to look for on coming traffic, however once your on a freeway this issue is removed and people don't seem to follow the golden rule of driving to make sure the coast is clear to your left and from behind as a result there will continue to be incidents.Last edited: Oct 28, 2018

Ive pulled double 48' skateboards hauling hay... That was interesting. A guy that hauled fertilizer into my previous employer, occasionally used double 36' hopper bottoms instead of the traditional "A" train.
