late friday--early saturday on i-90 east by northeast pa---one truck clipped a 4 wheeler why passing it--causing it to spin out and eject a rear seat pasenger--that passenger was then run over by a second truck
both trucks left the scene with out stopping
as of today-monday august 23 neither truck has been found
please keep an i out for them---we dont need these types of drivers on the road

Holy smokes the seat was ejected after clipping the car!? I dont forgive him for not properly passing the 4 wheeler. But if he didnt see it happen you aint gonna know you clipped the car. So I understand why he didnt stop. For the second truck that ran over the guy, you WILL know. Shame on him for that. I would like a link for the story.

I think the driver would know since according to the story, the car was hit with the front end of the truck.

I agree rear-ending a Volkswagon is not easy to miss. I stand corrected.

after seeing the pics on tv--i think that the first truck would have know---either the car was going very slow or the truck very fast as the back end of the car was pushed in quite a ways causing the door to open
tha family was going to toronto from chicago to start a new job
unless they got off on 86 one would think that the ny toll booth cams would see the truck ?

The 90-86 interchange is in PA. Far from the NY toll booths.

After reading your post again you are right. The toll booths should have a read on a tractor with damage to the front end. If not check them again in Albany where 88 runs into the Thruway. Thats the bypass for the tolls.

that is just HORRIBLE.....how can another human ( i use the term loosely)...KNOWINGLY run over someone and not stop?????? to leave someone to possibly suffer (hopefully they were dead on impact and didnt suffer) and then die....i hope they find they poor excuse for a human who did that and fry em....i mean maybe they couldnt avoid running over them BUT NOT STOP after you know you did?????? makes me sick.... my sympathies the family and friends....
