And on top of bad weather, that section of road has some spots with really bad asphalt and potholes that will try to jerk you off the road if you hit them just right. I was on it about 2 weeks ago and I hit one particularly bad one... It jerked me so hard to the right that I almost thought I had blown a steer tire.

We had a strong storm on Tuesday. I loaded about 20 miles from home, had to come through my town to go to a malt plant 3 hours away.
The wind was gusting over 40 mph, before I got back to my town, the snow started to come down and visibility was only about 200 feet.
I called a fellow trucker that was at the other end, he said it was freezing rain there. I only got about five miles out of town and knew a place I could turn around. So I called dispatch and told them not today.
