If i was a betting man i'd bet that they we're all following to close and going to fast for the road conditions, 17 trucks how preventable was that pile up?

Well, IDK about losing their license, I'm sure most of the drivers that got involved in this, probably never had that happen, and now they know. It's a hard lesson to learn, but once should do it. If it's their 2nd time in the ditch, THEN yank the permit.

No, We don't need more lanes and more vehicles......

I Have the Best thought out idea to keep these accidents to all time lows,

    No More Insurance Claims,

That's Right, If You are driving too fast and Start trhe accident AND you are Found Running into the Backs of people because of your stupidity and Hurriness,

You get Vehicle Towed Back to your House or Yard,And NO CHECK for a New Truck-.

You have to Repair it yourself to Teach you a Lesson about Safe Driving in Poor Weather.

    So There.

Yep- That Means You Can't Drive anymore Until You Put that New Bumper,-Hood Radiator Tires Springs n Bushings Core Supports Hoses ETC......... Teach you a Good Lesson

And If You Cry and Throw a Caniption Fit- You wont ever drive again.

I know the road well... Everyone tailgates, two lanes E two lanes W, one slow truck gums up the entire works. And, more than likely the reason all of these guys piled up, few if anyone runs their CB radio out here. Rare to get anyone on the radio out here. But, to add, there is one A hole on a base station that transmits his crap nearly 24/7 on channel 19, making CB use nearly impossible. The FCC needs to find that clown and unplug his unit.

Well, in those conditions I can guarantee I’d be one of those “slow” trucks.

No no... Can’t expect people to do that.

We need to dumb down the concept of driving for everybody else.

That, or start making vehicles out of Nerf.

But in the brave new world of all trucks must stay in the right lane that several states are proposing we'll all be doing the speed of the slowest truck, all nice and relaxed and won't need to tailgate anymore and cause all these wrecks.

It will be a nightmare for us if this ever happens, and probably even worse for car drivers but it sounds good to voters.

Oh, me too... I hate I-94 West of Jackson MI, it is a real PIA with traffic, which is always heavy and bumper to bumper. I do my best to stay off of it, especially when the weather as it is today. Going to have to break out the new plow to clear the driveway today, been snowing since early morning here.

Steel Dragon and DUNE-T Thank this.

Here is the new plow... Pretty cool, took 5 minutes and all done! The snowblower would have chocked on this wet heavy stuff.
