I have just shy of 300 on a low spec Dd15tc, and it did have low end from the start, just didn't wind well until after the overhead was adjusted at about 78 k, and it keeps getting better. Also uses less fuel to idle than when new.
I idled as needed for comfort or to.mask noisy environments, and it has 9250 hours as of today.
MIL lamp came on this morning and went off again the last time I shut it down while unhooking. Just like last time over a year ago. Driving precipitation probably has a problem Weather Pack electrical coupling
Batteries are original and still test well, over 3.5 years old. Just had winter service, changed a fuel filter on the front upper drivers side that is supposed to be changed yearly, and a new air dryer cartridge. , the air dryer has always kept the tanks dry.
Not an automated, just a 10 speed Eaton double OD with 3.42 Rockwell rears and 22.5 low pros, just a fleet spec. Best truck with least trouble I have ever run. -
I have a dd16 18B 46k 3.91 and I get 3.0 -3.5 mpg but I drive it for fuel economy.......
cnsper and fortycalglock Thank this. -
this one cascadia evo with 505, dt12 direct, and 2.64 did 8.1 avg over its first 38,000 and this is a slip seat company that hires anyone with a pulse. Food service with a 48 and at gross most of the time. My dad is in a 1st gen epa10 and its a complete turd. I grew up with my dad having 237s, e6 and early e7's and an 838 that ran like a raped ape but I would take the newer dd15 in a heartbeat, no regen issues and we idle way more than your avg owner op.
Take it for what its worth
