I worked for WE before , your right on the dm part.. They need anger management..!! That is why I left... Was talked to like a child.. Been driving before most of them been born.. But that is why I left.. And the women in the office have a gym they can go and work out in but the drivers don't even have a shower or a way to was their clothes at Nashville.. Go figure..!! That should tell you something..!!

You will be sorry if you do go with them. It will start with you being put up in a crappy motel. They do feed you, barely. They will lie to you time and time again and the VP of the lease purchase program(his initials are DM) will sit there and lie through his teeth to you about how they want you to succeed, and man does he sound sincere. He will give you a cell number that he claims is his and for you to call him anytime, but it will never be answered nor your call returned. If you have a mechanical issue and need to take the truck to the garage, you will sit for days while they keep telling you to check back in a few hours only to be told the same crap. 2510 miles and I still owe them? Advances are limited to $45 per load so it isn't that I'm taking too much in advances. I only get the fuel I need and get 6.7 to 7 mpg. I have basically been paying to make them money. I have even talked to other drivers with the same issues. You will also spend a lot of time sitting. 3 days to drive 734 miles and the consigned will almost always say no to an early delivery or most are closed on weekends. Obviously do whatever you must, but I would say listen to what people say. I wish I had. Good luck.

I was looking at doing their Lease program also can you please explain to me where all your money was going? with 2500 miles a week you should have been clearing over 1300. I cant figure out what was eating up all your money and thats before you calculate the fuel Sur charge.

I am once again offering for anyone who wants a REAL answer, the opportunity to ask me any questions. If you don't believe me, then I would suggest not wasting either person's time and move on to the next post.

I will also do my best to answer the questions that you had, "Why does my dispatcher refuse to route me to a repair location for the laundry list of equipment violations on my truck, like, let's just say - a broken shock absorber mount, and tell me to pick up and deliver loads regardless of the safety condition of the truck?"

It is probably because he gets paid a commission and is judged based on how many miles/on-time loads that his drivers are getting. This is relatively common in the trucking industry and is unfortunate.

Advice I was wondering if you think after cdl graduation if I would have a chance at employment with western express.My concern is that I have a extensive criminal background with three felony convictions.The first one is from 2006 for attempted robbery in the third degree.The other two are from 2008 for possession of stolen property a credit card and for burglary on a garage.I also have some misdemeanor convictions mostly for petty theft.My driving record is clean.please get back to me asap.thanks

Stop breaking the law. Glad you're using trucking as a last resort after you screwed everything else up.
