We pick up a lot of garbage in the Bronx and Long Island and deliver it to a dump in Ohio. It's real crappy duty, no pun intended.

That's probably not an OTR position; we are mileage-based. I've heard talk about it but haven't met any driver on it, so I know nothing.BostonTanker Thanks this.

So... Um is your driving record clean because you've spent so much time in jail?
Your record shows a blatant lack of regard for other people's property... Why in the world would anyone trust you with a $100,000 piece of equipment and any value of freight?
I wouldn't be surprised if western took you on, but with three felony convictions you are going to have a hard time getting on with a more reputable company even with your anticipated experience with Western.

Nothing personal, but if you are a recruiter, how can we believe anything you say? it's a recruiters job to lie and say anything to fill a seat. that's been my experienceVeryblessed Thanks this.

Did you notice he said FORMER recruiter? What does he have to lose by telling the truth? It's not so much what they tell you, it's what they DON'T tell you.Veryblessed and Buffalo Bill Thank this.

Maybe if no one else would take you. I'd go back to unloading trucks before I'd attempt working for them! And that's coming from a guy who tried out working locally for (ahem) Werner...
