I am a new driver and I have a question

    You sound like me in the early 80's when I just turned 21. I was eager to get out there on my own. I did. It was very tough and hit and miss. But that was a different time then. I survived as an independent but barely and after almost 18 months, I had had enough and was glad to drive someone else's truck.

    Not sure if you could do that today the way I did given it's a whole different world today.

    Just guessing but I would say no. Their cargo insurance most likely would not permit that.

    A new driver, a company with no name, insurance and authority easy, I just don't see why brokers, and companies are not tripping over themselves to put freight on your truck?
