I guess my enlisted surface warfare pin or my shell back cert or my wartime medals dont mean ####e either? I earned that stuff. Seems to me if I printed out my own degree from Yale I probably didn't earn it. I'd be a cheater. And I cant hang my hat on a life i didnt live. So let's get back to the original question, would the ata or fmcsa award a certificate based on the position your company put you in such as a trainer? Or would you have to take a accredited course through them?

I wouldn't associate with either the ATA or the FMCSA by choice

Could always print one out or go buy one and have your company sign off on it

I'm a Shellback also and a Vietnam vet; but no one cares about any of that except the recipient. Maybe you're too young to experience it, but no one cares and no one wants to hear about it. If your company won't give you a certificate, just put it on your resume.

    G.Anthony and BeanDip Thank this.
