I am fired from CR England before I even began

some will say i am crazy but if you wanna be a company driver try Prime Inc out of Springfield,MO. Just dont jump into the lease program unless you know what your doing. You can explain your situation to John Hancock real name and they know how these companies play their games. Always looking for good experience

 

Correct he is been black balled and what is that about they won't release the papers? uh? you paid out of your own pocket. Follow the advice above and also contact your local labor commission and let it all out you made an investment and and promised work you need to get to work your minus 1000 bucks and the truth is you needed to get to a dentist fast!

 

CR England tried to pull that "school" crap on me too, this was right after I had just completed trucking school! Said if I went through their school, they'd guarantee me a job. I told the recruiter it was a scam and that she could go jump in a lake. That's was almost three years ago. Since then, I've taked to several CR England drivers who were hoodwinked into their lease program...I thought slavery was abolished here in the U.S. back in the 1800's?

 

This actually works great I did the same thing hauling grapes and tomatoes and silage. It might be slow right now it picks back up in the spring time. Good luck Driver.

I second the recommendation for Prime in Springfield, MO. Great folks... super nice facility... overall very good reputation on these forums.

 

Check craigslist or some local papers. There's a few ads around here for help over christmas and quite a few legit smaller companies advertise on there including owner ops just looking for one driver. If you can get temp work until spring, the harvest outfits will be needing hopper drivers for the season. Same with paving companies.

 

I agree with those advocating the small companies. Unlike large companies, they almost always treat you like a person instead of a computer program. Hope you get this straightened out with CRE, though. That's a crappy way to treat someone.

 

Maybe i read his post wrong but didn't he say he has no driving experience except for getting his CDL he never made it otr with a trainer. If he has 0 exp. i think even local he might be screwed.

 

No, he said he drove for about 6 years but that was in the 90's and he let his CDL expire.
