I am looking into trucking but have felonies

What state are you in? Were you given deferred adjudication when they sentenced you?

 

Well like I said, and I wish I could remember where I heard it, but I can say this, I did not hear that from a website message board, regarding expunging a criminal record. I did try several attempts to locate such a ruling regarding the expungement after one obtains a CDL permit.

You might want to try a local CDL school regarding this, but I'd highly suggest a community college over an ordinary CDL Mill school who will NOT tell you the truth, and just take your monies.

So if you HAVE TO WAIT for the expungement, then I'd suggest you do so. Otherwise seek out if what I say is fact or not. DO several web searches yourself, I cannot do that all for you, as after all, you want a CDL, I already have mine, but have tried to get the facts on that as well just the same.

You'll have to word each search differently, like I did, including things like. "can I get my criminal record expunged while I have a CDL" or, Is it impossible to get my criminal record when I have a CDL...

things like that, and keep searching.

For what it's worth when I was looking around my local area for CDL jobs there was a company advertising that was a "2nd chance employer" , i.e. would hire you if you had a felony.
