cmon guys... have a heart. who KNOWS.. WHO CAN JUDGE but the man upstairs? As I leave for work, you all sleep.. @mje is not the individual, i'm pretty sure...but if so, so what? Give a guy a chance. I'm just a soft old guy, i guess...and I'm happy to be that guy, as I head to work.

There is no helping him. I had to accept a long time ago that there are people who are idiots and feel good saying that they did things their way instead of taking advice and doing things the right way. I knew someone like this who was a #### up their entire life and died young because of their ignorance. He thought the doctor was wrong about his health and died a week later doing the opposite of what the doctor said.

I see no reason to if they've served their sentence and are now trying to be productive members of society.

Just because they are trying doesn't mean that they don't have to prove themselves as trustworthy.

I have a few ex-cons working for me.

I told them until I don't trust you, I will trust you, so don't let me not trust you.

I had ONE issue with any of them and that wasn't even their creating so it wasn't on them.

However I have interviewed a lot who show up with an attitude that they appear to try and there is something off or something that shows there isn't a seriousness involved with trying. A few have shown up in old clothes and stink but I also have had women drivers interviewed who were worst than that so I shouldn't consider it a way to gauge their sincerity.

That much, I have no issue with. That should apply to everyone, IMO.

My point was that just because someone had to use lethal force once 10 years ago to defend himself doesn't make the person one to be feared in perpetuity.
