Why you trying to pass the guy who's going the same speed as you?

 

You're being a jerk to every other single person already on the road for one person? Why is the guy merging more important than other motorists? He has his job and you have yours. If you aren't doing the speed limit than you shouldn't be moving left.

If the road is void of other traffic, then yes I would move over for him too. However, I certainly wouldn't do it if I couldn't do the speed limit and hold up others.

I always knock the cruise off and let a similarly matched speed truck around me so they can get on by safely. No skin off my back, I’ve been stuck at 65-66 for several years and only a few trips I run push my driving time close. Plus, I am not racing other drivers from my company for a load, I run my stops and come back empty to the yard.

Sometimes, when I do pass another truck, in my daycab Cascadia, I will pretend to have a tall gearshift and hold my hand up in the air, pretending to shift as I am passing them. If I can’t look cool, at least I can feel cool. That’s what I tell myself anyways.

 

Yeah,a lot of times,they Arent Lighter At All& Faster on the downhill only.Trying to get a run at the Mountain.So,it goes like this "They give it hell with their "Heavy Container" ,blow your doors off on the downhill.,now their speed drops on the uphill(now you have to pass them).I believe they refer to it as "leapfrogging".This goes on (for a series of hills till you,get tired of the game and go up a serious long hill.Now,you probably never See them again.

 

If I'm in the right lane holding my speed... and some idiot tries to pass me doing the same speed and is holding up traffic.. That idiot can either slow down and get behind me or watch me laugh as he gets a ticket for impeding traffic.
