If you look at the guy's previous threads you see that he went with WE because no one else would hire him with his criminal background. He also says that quitting before 9 months will cost him $2500.00
Jumping ship right now probably won't work out too good.

OK so when i ran for Swift i had that problem. I put in for home time they said ok then they tried to give me a load going east to Atlanta that dropped 1 day before my hometime in Las Vegas NV. I declined they called I said either get me home or I will rent a car and drive home. I was in Fort worth at the time. They sent me another load dropped the day after my requested hometime I took it and stayed a few extra days at home. The DM called asked why i still had the truck if i was taking 3 days at home I said if you want it you know where it is. I was kinda a dick there. But Never let people take advantage of you.

No problem with that. It is what you have to do sometimes, Limp dicks get taken full advantage of everywhere.crxdc Thanks this.

When did this happen? While I ran with Swift from '12 through May '15 I didn't seem to have a problem getting home time +/- 3 days. Sure, I'd sometimes get a dispatch going in the opposite direction with home time pending, but I had the CHOICE to decline it with the reason being home time. In 2014 they really started getting serious about it and I remember getting pulled on a load from LA to Laredo, had to drop it in El Paso in order to get routed back home and be on time for Christmas on 2014.
Were you proactive talking with your driver manager and load planners? I didn't seem to have a great issue while with Swift, maybe it's because I made a point of doing meet and greets with planners in whatever terminal I was being planned out of, looking at the "bubble map", asking their opinion of load status, and if I was low on the "board" asking if they had local loads to deliver.
Ever want to light up a planners day? Ask if they have local deliveries they want handled that the day cabs can't handle. THEN see if a day of local deliveries doesn't magically result in a sweet multi-day load.
I'm not on board with your concept of telling the driver manager you want them to recover your truck. Seems like your communication with your driver manager and planners was out of wack, or that your expectations for being home on the DAY you requested is out of wack.
I'm no longer with Swift, left in May last year on very good terms. Running for a smaller flatbed outfit now out of OKC. Don't burn bridges. Always communicate and try to see what the office side of things is trying to accomplish. It's amazing how often their priorities might line up with your priorities, if you communicate. -
Maybe my math skills are slipping? May be time to seek legal advice?
