I can't afford CDL school

    Go to Millis Transfer for a year, make 60-70k, then switch companies. They pay for the training and they do it well.

    I called Roehl and Schneider and both were nothing more than a disappointment, simply because they said if you do not live somewhere very near to their training facility there is nothing they can do to help you.

    I could not believe my ears. I have my permit therefore I was quite anxious to pick either one to get my CDL through them and also work for them since I hear nothing but good things about them. To my surprise, both shut me down saying I don't live anywhere remotely close to where they train people. How is it that NOT A SINGLE TRUCKER EVER TALKS ABOUT THIS?

    This has become such an issue for me. For the record, I live in South Florida. Roehl said I would have to live near, at least, Georgia in order to be able to get my CDL through them. Were you aware of this?
