I think you are missing my point. No i would not want to live on 35k. But i could for a few years if i was in hump mode to save a bug chunk of change as stay up capital to get into truck ownership. That type of serious hump mode living on a very strict budget for years is why today i have a paid for truck that was new when i bought it, and a paid off mortgage. And the reason why today i can live comfortably on under 6 months of work.

Old lady is a manager at mcd's....they don't make 800 a week. More like 3.

I bring home 1000 dollars a week OTR. Some guys say oh I wouldn't wake up for 1000 dollars a week I made 250 thousand last year....let's see that pay stub. Your doing what you have to to survive just like the rest of us patch boys.

People who say they won't wake up for that are owner operaters and talking about truck revenue.

I get it. Doing it as a single person is one thing, but putting a wife and kids through it is another. There has to be balance.

Land is very expensive in Wyoming. The cheapest I could find is around Little America in the western portion of Wyoming and even that is expensive. Moved to Las Vegas instead and it's much cheaper than Wyoming.

I saw that. This country is crazy to me how real estate rates are so crazy across the board.

Yes, it's crazy. I edited that post a little too. I was really surprised at how resonable the prices are in Southern Las Vegas/Henderson and the family oriented communities to choose from. I picked the best schools then matched that with the homes in the area and Seven Hills gated community fit the wants & needs.
