    Nobody owes me anything.

Get off your high horse man, holy frikin' hell. I'm from CANADA dude. Ontario to be specific and I have to deal with compulsory insurance and no govt. body to regulate the prices the private sector is setting. They make BILLIONS in profit if you'd actually bother looking into it.

Insurance companies do not go broke here. I pay 3200$ yearly for insurance, 260$ per month ... when I lived in British Columbia I was paying 90. It's a big joke in Ontario, they screw people as much as they can when they can "justify" it, make absurd profits and that's all there is to it.

Compulsory insurance should not be an "investment". Now granted all companies need to make a little profit but insurance companies have figures like that of pharmaceutical companies in the states making billions while many cannot afford the medication they need.

I live in a world where the poor are accountable for feeding the wealthy , and the wealthy are constantly pushing the limits taking more and more all the while remaining completely unaccountable. It's only going to get worst and god help those aren't self reliant (reads "SELF RELIANT", not drones that rely on the system to keep them alive all the while thinking they are autonomous). It's unfortunate you will not get to see the worst of it because it would be a real eye opener.

Mellow out. You pay more $ for insurance in Ottawa do to the reason your on the QUEBEC border , insurance companies hate paying for stolen vehicles that head to Montreal to be stripped and shipped overseas.

Also QUEBEC drivers do not always drive the way they should in Ontario ( Ottawa ) and cause majority of accidents. All of which put the $ up.

As for finding employment its hard everyplace right now in TRUCKING or HEAVY equipment when you have limited experience or marks against your license.

Stuff it, save the Ontario Liberal chant for someone who hasn't heard it before. I've listened to you bunch whining all my life. You've been sucking the life out of the rest of Canada for years and it still isn't enough for you.

The world you live in is a total fantasy fuelled by the so-called "education system" ever since Lester Pearson. Year after year you watch Crown Corporations crapping away millions upon millions in defecits, you lionize a "health care system" which has been bankrupted by the govt since early in the 60's. In short, Ontarians have their head so far up the govt's *** for so long you no longer recognize crap when you smell it.

Frankly, I got fed up finally with watching you clowns ruin what was once one of the best country's around. Sadly, they're breeding more govt tit-suckers all the time here too. But there's still hope that they won't get the kind of mindless minions that infest Canada; not much but a little yet.:biggrin_25516:

I think pretty much only the colors of the trucks they buy. When I graduated high school in 1980, I had several friends whose fathers were truck drivers, whether O/O or company drivers. They led extremely comfortable, upper middle class lives. It seems like ever since trucking was deregulated, trucking has been on a continual downward spiral. I could be wrong, that's just my humble opinion.

They firmly believe the USA will support them. France said "Mais Non" years ago.

Sorry about "losing it" folks, but I AM a Canadian and I've been listening to this garbage out of Ontario (Liberal Central) for many years. It practically requires surgery to remove their lips from the govt posterior.

stop trying to drive a truck so bad. it aint all its cracked up to be. this is coming from someone who has loved trucking ever since he could remember. So much #### to deal with, you can make nearly as much money being a dock worker or something else. Everyone thinks trucking is some dream job with no boss. Its not.

    Everett Thanks this.
