A Local shopping plaza’s “Truck” entrance. The Center divider curb makes it impossible to enter with a tractor trailer without hitting a curb. Get me in there without curbing a tire.

If I fired every one of my guys that made a minor mistake I wouldn't have anybody left to drive.
That being said, if he gives the boss a lot of attitude, tries to shift the blame, or lies about what he did he should be fired. Not for the tire, but because it shows what kind of person he is and gives warning of the fact that he's going to be trouble later on.Canadianhauler21, bryan21384, Gearjammin' Penguin and 4 others Thank this. -
Some docks have curbs in front of them you must go over. Some turns are too tight not to curb and must be taken to enter your point of entry. Gentle, slow, and easy.
Canadianhauler21, Trucker61016, alds and 1 other person Thank this. -

Ok, I'll ask the dumb question, "how did the camera catch this?" Unless the curb was run over with the tractor and the shock triggered the camera.
Canadianhauler21, Trucker61016, mustang190 and 2 others Thank this. -
Meh, ran one fri i thought was safe cause its the only way to get where i was going, i was wrong, curb had sharp breaks in it, was fully loaded and tire had certainly had some sidewall hits in its day (before me) tire gave up, called tire shop, replaced tires on that axle (been meaning to do all 8 trailer, just wanted dump valve set up first)
am i now no longer professional? Never missed an appointment that i didnt tell everyone wasnt happening at pickup, i refuse loads i cant be safe on, never had a load claim, no accidents, clean dot record outside dot finding "chafed lines" etc.
Go f yerself, if youve never curbed anything, you exclusively drive a short daycab and 28 foot trailer in montana, nebraska, etc and dont know what a city is.Zangief, God prefers Diesels, Czar_Zero and 8 others Thank this.
