I don’t really like trucking so far...

Companies don't get better but you do.It takes time.Right now everything is overwhelming but one day you'll be in rhythem and it become much easier it just takes time.

 

Who do you work for?

 

It’ll get better. You’ve got to give it time. In 10-12 years, you’ll barely be able to remember today.

 

You risked your CDL because you didn't want to sleep in the truck? Can I have a large fries with that?

 

You are in way over your head, it doesnt sound like you researched this career at all.

You will not be successful in this industry. Move on.

 

Like it's been mentioned it does get better or should I say easier.
Don't be a quitter. It takes balls and patience to be successful and if you quit before you even start because of a few bad things. Your gonna have a bump ride all your life. Your going to have to build a tough skin and learn over time from experience when to take the crap and when to give crap back.

There would be more I could say about what the company shouldn't have had you do and what you should have done. But just hang in there. Build the experience. Get comfortable with your job. And then you'll feel more in charge then you are currently.

Company does need you more then you need them. Believe me.

 

There are better companies out there, go find one!

 

Beginning is the worst. Just hang in there. I've seen mentors who teach bare minimum and I don't have respect for lazy people taking advantage of new drivers. Like I said don't quit. Don't be one if those people. Either take it easy nice and slow take deep breaths and just tell yourself your going to do this at your own pace. The job is a lot harder if your nervous or overworking yourself. Try and talk with your dispatch or company and explain to them that you don't know what to do you feel like you need more training. Maybe they will team you up or give you a mentor or just work with you patiently.
