I think it will depend on what kind of specific advise you are looking for. There are a ton a drivers and mechanics here that will try to answer your specific mechanical questions and problems. This is the place to find out when to lube those muffler bearings! And there are way too many truckstop lawyers residing on these pages to give you all kinds of legal advice, take with a 50 lb bag of salt! But you are right about some aspects, drivers will not willingly tell you that they are getting $3 a mile to haul from the widget factory to the distribution center, because sure as heck somebody will want to cut their rates to get the business.

OK, thanks for the clarification of you post. FWIW, you run across all types here on the forum, just as you do in real life. It has to be up to YOU to sort out what you want to pay attention to, and what you want to disregard.
