NOT!
I passed with only one issue...When he asked for an air down, as I was putting it in gear to simulate chocking the wheels, he said to not put it in gear which threw me off and I didn't release the spring brakes...As I was pumping them down "I" realized they weren't going to pop out, told him how I've been told so many times to keep the brakes on when not in gear that it threw my rhythm off...He was cool about it and let me start over after putting it in gear...Other than that, nailed all the driving and the "A" part of the pre-trip, which was my weak area as I consider myself mechanically challenged, but in the end, I PASSED!...W/S, here I come!!!
I failed my cdl test today....

Congrats....Welcome to the world of high dollar tickets...lol

well first, congrats.
secondly, the DMV test sites i deal with, if you DO NOT put the transmission into the lowest forward gear (and engine off, wheels MUST BE CHOCKED), you fail instantly....!!!
but hell man.......you passed.....it's all behind you now..........walstib Thanks this. -
Now go and get em!walstib Thanks this. -

Congrats man! I would reconsider going out this winter with no trainer. You will make money a lot faster having has a trainer than not. Just a thought from an experienced driver.

Congratulations Walstib!!
Welcome to he.. the world of trucking!walstib Thanks this. -
Is there a place where I can check % of accidents for each company, I'd like to see where W/S ranks in regard to others being they don't have a trainer program...If it's inline with others, I'll do my best not to change that, if it's way out of line to the bad, I'll seriously reconsider as I have other companies lined up if I don't like the way this one shapes up... -
