Glad that we're reading about it from a first hand account instead of a newspaper obit. You were lucky my friend. Go buy a lotto ticket.
I Flopped my truck over with a load of rocks.

@D.Tibbitt Hope you are okay, after the adrenalin wears off.? Life sucked in your cab for a few seconds.
Hoping truck repair, replacement isn't a huge struggle!
Best wishes, EVERYONE here at TTR is pulling for you.Last edited: Aug 27, 2021

When you're in the bush it's not a matter of "if" its a matter of "when." I grew up in the logging industry and of the dozens of drivers I knew or knew of, I bet 90% have put a truck on its side at least once. Don't beat yourself up over it.Geekonthestreet, bzinger, austinmike and 9 others Thank this. -

Think about how much it costs just to have a fender, headlight assembly, or whole hood replaced these days after parking at a truck stop. Now If just a fender is smashed that means the whole hood is scrap in the eyes of insurance. Take out a grill. Now the radiator, cac, condenser, brackets, hoses, blah, blah gets written up by the adjuster to be replaced just for the heck of it. Thats just a couple examples of why insurance is wacked out. Just the out of pocket deductible can be $5000 and the repair in reality could be $2000 if handled correctly. Back in the day when stuff like that was actually bolted onto a truck you just replaced what was needed.
