They sure don't make 'em like they used to. Know a guy who put one over pretty much like you did. Virtually undamaged. It drove to the shop after the loader picked it back up on its wheels lol.
I Flopped my truck over with a load of rocks.

Yeah. Sounds like they will take the easy out and total in the name of depreciation. The only thing in that case you could hope for if you don’t buy it back and fix yourself would be for it to go to a good salvage yard that will keep it around for awhile as a parts truck for other poor truckers in need.
I didn’t think about it cause it wasn’t a big deal in the past but they may call it a loss because the engine was running after it rolled. -

Glad you’re ok after that one. Looks like it sure could’ve been a lot worse.
Usually repairs that are about 50% of the truck’s value will get it totaled out. The bad part for you if they total it is that you will be truck shopping at the worst time ever.Accidental Trucker, Ruthless, JoeyJunk and 4 others Thank this. -

Sorry to hear about this Tibbit, glad your OK.
I have passed a few places that have a lot of used Trucks. I'm not in the market but pretty sure they are around, despite all the talk otherwise. Every so often pass a dealership just full of what appear to be good clean used trucks.
Good luck on whatever your next steps are. I'm sure you'll come out good! -
How much did you have it valued at? If you don’t mind?
My bet is they fix it but I could be wrong. Trailer obviously is a goner.
Sortof depends on your value for it though.
Edit: I had a truck in the ditch a couple yrs ago and it was valued at 50k. Bill came out to 39k and they fixed it instead.Ruthless, black_dog106, JoeyJunk and 3 others Thank this. -
