saw them on truck paper. but think before you blow 100plus gs on truck and not be able to go any where with it.

 

Not go anywhere with it? Boy, I must be illegal everywhere I go with my glider! Oh wait, I am legal except CA. And I could give a rip about that. I don't go west of I-25.

 

What is a Glider? Purchaser goes into the Dealer, speaks with a salesman, then explains he wants to buy a new truck and with the help of the salesman proceeds to specify how the truck will be built. (im thinking this may go either way). Myself, i think u could spec out the truck cheaper than 126K...pretty sure.

 

A glider is a new cab and chassis that you install reman/already owned engine, trans, rears. The major advantage is that you can put a pre emissions engine in and not have to deal with egr, scr, dpf etc issues.
Another advantage used to be that you didn't have to pay the 12% fet, but I think that has changed

 

Exactly! Cali is the only place you cannot "legally" run.

 

I heard other states like NY, OR and some more want to follow California foot steps. and heard some companies stopping ordering gliders because of that

I would love to see the Northeast part of this country start cracking down on gliders, lol. Will be a while before that happens....a LONG while.
