Sounds like a good gig and I would ride that wave as long as I could if I were you. Dont be surpised though if you come across DOT sooner or later in one of those rest areas on 88 with there portables out . I wouldnt go putting the astroglide away just yet!
I found the deal of a lifetime .94 cpm company driver.

But My main reason for this post was to ask why some people post 1100$ instead of $1100?
The simple answer to that is that people type as they speak instead of typing with proper punctuation and grammar.lilconnerpeterson Thanks this. -

The only downside for now is that, and I just have to keep track of my expenses and make sure i take advantage of any and all write off's as possible.
The guy I am working for seems to really have his act together. He lets me do as i wish. I feel he has a real grasp on what he's doing and when he tells me he wants to grow and get a few more trucks I believe him. His last driver must have been a total loser. He appreciates what I do, has set me up to get all new tires and is buying me a fancy new drivers seat. I dont see what he gets paid per trip but when he said he's paying me 50% i believe him. and to be honest, if he's not, not only do i not blame him, but i'm still happy with what Im getting. So far it's seems to be the beginning of a good friendship and work relationship. So far it's the best money ive made for the least amount of work and hassle. it is handy that im conviently located in between where we pick up and deliver so i can be home as often as i wish.
im looking forward to helping him grow and would keep anyone else here posted on the progress.Derailed and truckermetz Thank this. -

I would have to see that in writing about the pay. I have run surge as a O/O for WalMart, and my loads where out and back, paid all loaded miles, and this included coming back empty after my last store. The loads are based on round trip and my FSC did not change.
