I got all these done. What else do I need to roll legal?

That's correct . Under 10,000 lbs. GVWR is not a CMV and not regulated . That's why so many expediters run cargo vans - no logs required unless hauling hazmat requiring placards .

You fuel costs will be less than that of a big rig, but you will make up for it in hotel costs and deadheading for loads.

Very true. My new Silverado gets 19mpg highway but only 12mpg pulling my trailer with the Harley and quads inside it.

Show me a 48 state OTR truck that doesn't have a vin # on the side, and ill show you a truck that gets called inside of every weigh station it rolls through.

I never had my vin on my truck until I started running Colorado, and I did not get called into every weigh station for 5+ years.

Even in CO...it isn't "required" to be legal....you will have to take in the registration to the coop to show the VIN. My company didn't have the VIN # on the doors till they went to prepass and found the little green light works when everything is in order.

This has to be the most ridiculous statement made in quite a while . None of our fleet has the VIN numbers on it . I haven't been inspected in months .
