You are missing the point, my talking about any hours of service is a protected right and you can't be fired for this. Why don't any of these drivers know that the reason that I was fired is a civil right issue and possibly a Whistleblower issue. We shall see if I get somewhere with OSHA. - Andrea (Cozy)

Well, because my talking about my 10 hour break is a protected right to all CDL holders; I'm not happy about the way that it happened at all, but the fact that it did... I hope to prove my case that they violated my rights by doing so. It sucks, but it is what it is. - Andrea (Cozy)

Again, The act of my talking or discussing hours of service is a protected right in USA. Job or not, they can't fire me for discussing my HOS. Even though they have, it's a protected right... -Andrea (Cozy)

It's she, and that could be the reason. The managing partner is on email as saying that I was fired for "complaining about my 10 hour break". I've said it a few times already, but the act of discussing your 10 hour break is a protected right to all CDL holders. - Andrea (Cozy)

Yeah, they never wanted us to write anything on our pre or post trip inspection sheets either!!!! Illegal! They wanted us to write the trucks up and put it in a box for the shop. This company was crazy! - Andrea (Cozy)

Lucky for me, I have emails sent back and forth from the OSHA inspector where one of the owners didn't cover their butts. He told the OSHA inspector that I was fired for "complaining about my 10 hour break". I was blown away when I saw that. That's a protected right that I have. I can't be fired for complaining about my 10 hour break, although I was. I feel confident about my case. - Andrea (Cozy)

Well if I had known that I was going to get fired for a federally protected right that I have, then perhaps I wouldn't have said anything!!! NO, I still would have... It's my butt and my life along with others. If I would have taken the run after a 9:55 min break and was tired, killed someone.... Who would that come back to? ME. I did pick my battle. I chose to follow the law. - Andrea (Cozy)

No dude... I'm a female and it's the #### law!!! I'm glad that you're willing to break it, however, I am not. - Andrea (Cozy)
