So, if I'm okay with those prices is it still hard to find a 1x1?
The reason I ask is that on other boards people are saying they can't find anything under 1k and calling the market impossible. I got the impression that they were just refusing those prices....not that nothing was available.Last edited: Oct 10, 2013

I hope that I can also receive that call from the company that I've been applied.

Wow. That really makes me nervous. Their hiring process is taking a really long time. I thought I'd be able to use the relocation bonus to actually get a place since waiting has me tapped out. But you have to get a place and then it takes 2 weeks to get it?? That sounds pretty close to impossible. I wish I would have known that. I really don't know what this means for me now...

If possible take a rv down to midland/odessa area. There are rv parks down there and prices range from 300-500 a month with electricity and water paid. Much cheaper than what an apartment would cost.

I am just being honest with you so there are no surprises if you decide to take the job. There is also a repayment contract should you choose to quit before one year has passed. If they terminate you then its money you keep. They just want a lease to know you are in a contract and aren't going to skip town after you receive it. I can understand their reasoning. Don't give up just yet, it all works out in the end.sanook Thanks this.

I really appreciate your input. Im still hoping to go with Sunoco. It HAS to work out, right? Haha. I definitely understand their reasoning. Id do the same thing if i were in their shoes.

I applied with sunoco logistics on saturday and got a call yesterday. i said i was still interested and the lady wanted a copy of my school transcript. i emailed it to her and today she called and said they would like to interview me next tuesday. i am applying at the elk city, oklahoma location.

That part all happens quickly, its the waiting afterwards that takes a while. Just REALLY ready to start working here!

Mind if I ask you one more question? How long did it take you to actually get on the road and head to TX after your interview?
