I've had a few doctors tell me that since I love coffee, then drink caffeinated coffee. Stay away from the decaf.
I drink about 15 cups a day.
The main concern with decaffeinated coffee is to decaffeinate coffee involves methylene chloride, a solvent that has been linked to an increased risk of cancer and other adverse health effects. -
I came to that decision awhile back. Sugar. It's a hell of a drug.Iamoverit Thanks this.

Put yourself in the employer's shoes. Employer has the liability when things go wrong. Someone who uses may use on the job or be under the influence on the job. A person who does not use will never be under the influence and carries zero risk for accidents while being under the influence.
Drug tests can provide information about recent drug use, but they do not always indicate when someone last used a drug. The detection window for drugs varies, and some tests can only confirm that a drug has been used, not when. For example, THC can be detected in urine for up to three days after use, but it can remain in the system for much longer in fat cells, potentially up to 40 days for heavy users. Oral fluid tests, while not as sensitive as urine tests, can detect recent use within minutes. Hair tests can detect drug use for up to 90 days. It's important to note that drug testing does not provide information on the strength of the drug or how long it was in the system.Jabuol Thanks this. -
I've smoked a fair amount of weed in my life, but I've never smoked anything that kept me high for 3 days.Sirscrapntruckalot, Gearjammin' Penguin and Iamoverit Thank this.

Why don't they test for alcohol then? Or why not expand to a much larger group of commonly abused drugs? It's not about safety and it's not about litigation. It's about control and discrimination.
Bad decisions are the problem, not the substances. A negative 5 panel test means nothing.Sirscrapntruckalot and Gearjammin' Penguin Thank this. -
Absinthe laced with opium will keep you screwed up for 3 days.

You can't keep your life as it is and just remove the THC from it. You have to throw away the environment and habits around the weed to get rid of the weed, like drinkers giving up alcohol. They don't hang out in bars. You need exercise and God and friends and good habits. It doesn't matter if THC is harmless or worse than any poison, you can't have the life you want with THC. People making excuses for THC are trying to keep you in the gutter with them. They are not your friends and they care nothing for your future. If they don't have a magic wand and a time machine to change all of society they mostly just want people to pity them for their self-imposed sabotage.austinmike, Sons Hero and D.Tibbitt Thank this.

FYI, Employers are not interested in your psychological diagnosis. I often overshare about my psychology and childhood, etc. Employers are looking for stable and reliable employees, not wanting to learn every detail of your life, even the important details. Focus on results, not explanations. You're either doing what you should or not doing what you should. The why is virtually unimportant to anyone but you. Your grandfather likely didn't tell his employer every thought in his head before doing his work. The world is NOT getting better as everyone discloses every condition and thought they have. I don't say this to keep you from posting anything you want to post but to prepare you for formal settings like an interview for a job. They have a form they are trying to fill-out about you. The best answers are "yes" and "no" and not describing "your journey". This is just friendly advice you may or may not choose to consider. Employers are not friends but you can be friendly.
