I'm saving my loves fuel card points up for a dash cam. The evidence that these are important has been mounting recently in my life to say the least.

My car did the same the front end dipped down which then the rear was the first to start a skid. Not sure if my abs was working or not but I was still able to steer. Just really didn't matter in my situation being I did not know whether or not she was going to decide to continue forward or reverse out of my way or what so in reality I had one option stay in my lane and that's what I did..

The whole time (2 seconds) I was thinking is there any possible way I could minimize the impact so as to not kill the lady by t boning her directly into her drivers side door. I did manage to get the rear in to kick around so I ended up hitting sliding side ways (in my lane) which I think saved her life.

Unfortunately this is I think why the officer interpreted the accident as my fault (faulty braking maneuver) was his words exactly when in fact my breaking maneuver saved her life because otherwise i would have knocked her through the passenger side door and down the street as it was the engine took the majority of the impact.

    x1Heavy Thanks this.

Yes. but that's not to say you can't sue your insurance company if you feel they don't have your best interest at heart.
An insurance company works like a lease deal the only thing that matters is their bottom line so a lawyer may be necessary.

I called some lawyers up today trying to find someone who could give me some pointers as to how I should proceed. One lawyer said they need to see the officers report the other said they wouldn't mess with it from the description i gave them that is. I told them the officer thought that I'd applied a faulty breaking maneuver.. I told them that no breaks would have needed to be applied if she hadn't pulled out in front of me.. Seems like common sense to me but apparently not to the officer.

I told them I have pictures showing that her vehicle was in the middle of my lane upon impact.. The impact moved her car over to the edge of the road. the picture shows the skid mark leading directly to her steers..

The one lawyer that needed to see the police report stated they would consider the case but I would need to schedule a consultation that would cost 100 bucks...I tried to get an idea from her whether or not she thought I should pursue the lady but she couldn't give me any advice on that before me shelling over some cash..

So with all that said from what I can tell the officers interpretation of the situation takes priority over everyone else. They don't even consider that he could be wrong.

I'm thinking I need to try and contact him again and if that doesn't pan out take the lady to small claims court or something along those lines.
