I thought that was seat grease? I’ve been wrong all this time.

That is only because the truck was red. Had it been green you still may be waiting unless you back up.

These are my go to threads. If you are down and need a laugh this is the place. Its got both the feel of a high school reunion and the first day of kindergarten all in one place. One of the few threads where everyone cones together and gets along.

With the condition of a lot of Big R’s stuff down here it looked the mechanics wern’t allowed to touch them either. Lol. But the driver not allowed to touch hood makes since because now that you said that I remembered an instance back in ‘98-‘99 time frame where they were doing a drop at my warehouse and the truck would crank but not fire. Sounded like the fuel solenoid went out. It was a mid 80’s Road Boss with BC4 in it. I told the guy about turning the thumbscrew on the pump so he could be on his way. He said no and could not open hood to get to it. Called in a service call. Sat two hrs. untill mechanic came over probably on lunch break or on way home early. He opened hood. Fidfled around. Figured out thumbscrew snd the driver was in his way back to yard. Big big Waste of everyones time that day.

But, but, if the IQ test isn’t administered by a panel of experts holding their dcks covered in hollandaise sauce and wearing a pinwheel hat, the IQ test is invalid.

I thought, hey, what the hel!, that stupid thread
must have been blasted out of the sky by now.

Nope, here you all are, still flogging that poor dead horse.
This must be some kind of record, eh?

I actually have work to do, got to put the new tie rod end
on the passenger side of my truck, yes, the same one that
the Freightliner guy looked up, and gave me the right hand thread
one for the left hand thread I needed, just got back from exchanging it.
And they wonder why you get the part number from them, and go online???
I guess I'll check back when you're around 40 pages in. Happy flogging.

What if you put the left one on the right side, would it make the truck only turn left? Does hub grease work or is it special grease? Does the color of the truck have different part numbers for tie rods?

I’m just glad I have a 48’ trailer. These 53’s really block your vision

    1) - Yes. You could not turn out of a traffic circle, ever.
    2) - Yes, it is a very special grease, grease for peace.
    3) - and yes. All in Chinese, translated from Mongolian Arabic.

(and to compound my angst, or whatever, it's snowing here now,
The ground is covered; and did I mention I hate Winter?)

I have a big garage to work in, and it's already apart outside.

Is it a full moon? Must be.
The cops and hospitals both say that is really a thing, lunatics.

    Hi Elmer,
I have a Freightliner 20 foot rollback bed. (I got shortchanged.)
If a car, that I can't see the headlights on, is traveling 70 MPH
and I jam on my brakes, full panic stop,
how many dead babies will fit under my wheel lift?
