I am from Spokane Washington. The local companies that pay $15 an hour 2 guys with 10 years of experience. There may be lots of local work where you live but not where everybody lives so don't knock a guy if he has to choose a mega just to get a job.

You are joking, right? Of the different areas I've looked at, Spokane has good paying jobs even on Craigslist.

Dude I live in Spokane Washington I talked with my instructor at the truck driving school at Community College I made phone calls. The best local job there is Spokane produce running loads to Missoula and the surrounding area. It pays $15 an hour. If there was a local job they're paying better I would already be doing it. Yeah everybody knows those Craigslist jobs are great. Look at it again and you'll see most of those Craigslist jobs are not in the area and most are scams

When the Craigslist jobs pay like that the jobs that aren't advertising there are paying better.

Unfortunately a lot of companies (megas and otherwise) advertise on Craigslist promising sign on boneses, great pay, etc. but it usually ends up being a scam. If it's too good to be true (and it's on Craigslist),then it probably is.

Every job I've looked into that advertised a certain hourly pay paid that hourly pay. Nevertheless, that was but one example, the point is that Spokane is full of good paying local jobs.

The hourly jobs driving in my home area start at $15 to 18 an hour, unless going to a beer hauler or Pepsi. Those are the only two worthwhile but take literally years for a spot to open up, and even then you get #### short routes because you're used for vacation caveats

Why does anyone work for CRE? I have never heard any driver say one thing good about them. If not the rip off lease to owe, $12,000 CDL course, worthless trucks, **hitty dm's, and sub-minimum wage pay, it's CRE trashing your PSP report for non-fulfillment of a (dubious) contractual obligation that no reasonable person could ever fulfill.

I admit that job looks great but when I was first starting out Trucking there's nothing but crap on Craigslist and I've been checking indeed dot-com every week since then. It looks good but you'll notice they advertise 6 hour shifts and a four-day work week I don't know how that corresponds 2 full time hours. If I was at home looking for a job though I'd be jumping right on that thing.

A lot of local jobs seem to want you to be their temp to cover shifts that regulars don't show up for or for vacations. Part-time hours ain't going to cut it for me.
