    Well, hold off on heading south on 77 through Virginia, towards Mt Airy and Charlotte... It gets pretty hairy over there!

    Me and my dad was coming off black mountain in western nc my dad was going about 40 45 and a tanker passed us and left us and i could see he was riding his brakes and i told my dad thats not ganna end well. Well lets jt say the 2nd escape ramp coming down the tanker driver was in it if he wasnt in such a hurry he woulda been alright

    I would do what you feel comfortable with. Don't worry about the others if your to slow for them they can pass you.

    If they have a problem, they will speak up... At which point you will most likely tell them that they are #1 and that they suck donkey balls.

    We'll... If you do by chance back under the kingpin and it happens to get stuck in front of the fifth wheel... Back up just a hair until the kp and fw are not touching and dump the tractor suspension, and then check and see if you can pull cleanly out...Often times by doing this you will be able to correct the problem before it really sucks...
